A great week on set of Lucasfilm’s RED TAILS

I’m not allowed to write about this week in detail, but I can describe these seven days in a few words:  It was a really great experience to be intern / assistant of Philip Bloom together with Nino Leitner on set of Lucasfilm’s upcoming feature “RED TAILS”.

Subtitle: I’m on Lucasfilm set with pimped Canon 7D Rig.

Philip Bloom was DP of the 2nd Unit and used DSLR’s (a modified Canon 7D with PL-Mount) to shoot parts of the “RED TAILS” pick ups.

On set he shot a few timelapses with Canon 1D MK IV and Nikon D3s. He published the whole short film and many descriptions about gear he used on his weblog.

You can find more information about RED TAILS on Philip Bloom’s weblog!

Big thanks to Philip Bloom, Nino Leitner and Rick McCallum!
