First time we heard about the Panasonic AG-AF100 was in April! Now there are some really good new facts out about this camera.
Panasonic’s new camera (chip comes from Panasonic GH1 DSLR) will shoot AVCHD at 1080p and 720p at frame rates of 59.94, 50, 29.97, 25 or 23.98. The camera will also have XLR and HD-SDI sockets! Wow! You will be able to use Nanoflash or AJA KiPro box and record your video in extreme high data rates. THIS is amazing! AND: This camera will have a multi mount solution! A very wide variety of lenses for digital SLR cameras can be used to shoot movies! It is also possible to use an adapter and mount 35 mm PL-lenses on it! Now I want to have this camera!

4/3 inch? wow, almost 35mm
I wonder what is meant by PH mode (Professional High?)
Interchangeable lenses, nice.
I am interested to see what kind of color compression they use: 4:2:0 or 4:2:2.
I think it is gonna be a great alternative for quick news shootings comparing to HDSLRs. Any rumors about the price?
I heard about $ 6,000.
