Vimeo embeds supporting iPad and iPhone now!

Amazing news for all of us. Now you will be able to put on your website HTML 5 embeds of your Vimeo videos. They released a new embed code a few days ago. Now my site is totally iPad and iPhone friendly and you can watch all my films with these devices. Great! If you have many videos on your blog or website, you don’t have to manually change all your codes, there is a little hint. You can put at the end of your website (before </body> tag) this little code-snippet: <script src=”http://assets.vimeo.com/js/embedinator.min.js”></script> Here you can watch one of my films with the old embed code, it also works on your Apple device:

Canon 60D & high end Canon 1DS MK IV shoots RAW video?

This would be awesome! CanonRumors uploaded some pictures of the new Canon 60D. No Photoshop, just real. On the pictures you can see the actual camera being tested. You also can see, that it is possible to flip the display like the one of the Panasonic GH1. The camera has the same handy wheel with a set button like the Canon 7D and a video record button. We have to wait for Photokina in Cologne this September, there we will get all information about the new cameras of Canon. Many stores have listed the Canon 60D on their stock inventory for the 22nd September. Canon has also to be motivated to integrate their continuous AF in video mode into their upcoming cameras (I don’t need this feature, but perhaps it is great for some Steadicam shots), because Nikon will support this feature in their upcoming Nikon D3100 too. But the biggest rumor is RAW video! I don’t believe in it, it would be paradise on planet earth! The New Canon 1DS Mark IV perhaps will support RAW video. The new full frame camera will have DIGIC 5, a low light sensor in it with lower megapixel count as the D3S….

Poll: Upcoming HDSLR-Workshops in Germany
