This was our setup for the Trailer „YGGDRASIL“, which we completely shot on the Blackmagic Ursa Mini 4.6K. The Sachtler Maxima SMX30 Gimbal is a beast and for me personally the best stabilizer system out on the market right now. We used it several times for a bunch of feature film projects, but this project was a special one. The whole trailer was shot with the help of the Maxima SMX30. Some shots would be impossible to make without this gimbal, especially the one in the cave. I tried so many gimbal systems, but this one is by far the best one. You can use small cameras, but also big ones without any problems. You are not limited by the choice of lenses or accessories you mount on the camera, an huge Master Prime in front of a Sony F55 or Amira or three motors for iris, zoom, focus? No Problem.
