Lighting example: This corridor was location for two scenes, which we shot on one day. Corridor was 25m long. The first scene was a gimbal shot and camera has to be in front of actor and for another take behind the actor. The 2nd scene was a two camera setup fixed on tripods. Two #ARRI Alexa cameras. One wide shot 32mm and another one 65mm. Gimbal lens was 24mm. Alexa cameras set to F4. #R3D Epic Dragon due to lower native ASA 320 to F2.8. We lit the whole set with a bunch of lights. Backlight was an ARRI M40. One at the end of corridor (outside, lit through windows) and another one at the starting point 15m outside of the corridor. Then we had on the left doors some Altman 1KW tungsten lights and Daylight ARRI M8 and M18s with 1/2 CTO indirect via bounce. Altman 1KW directly through doors. The doors with windows were closed, the doors whithout windows were open a tiny bit, as actors are coming in and out during take. On the right side we had strict daylight lights (KinoFlos 4 Bank), ARRI M8, some with additional 1/2 CTB to get a great mixed light feeling. We scrimmed some lights, as it was too much on some positions, especially the Altmans. Additional haze gives the police corridor more atmosphere and texture.
